Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5th, 1956 at Woodland Hills California. Her father worked as an elementary school teacher, while her mother was mother at home. She has three older brothers: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick began singing and performing at a very young age. At the age 6, McCormick won her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether the actress was looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick got her first big job when she was cast in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels newest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. That year that followed, she appeared in another television commercial for the doll Chatty Cathy. After that, she was chosen by La Jolla Playhouse to play the part of the character Wind It up and It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, chosen from more than 1500 auditioned children, was cast as the third of three head-to-head daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick, in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published in 2008 McCormick revealed how during the fifth season of the TV show, she nearly lost her their virginity to twin brother Barry Williams. He was 19 years old. She was 16. The incident would have happened according to her. The timing of our romance was not right.
