Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox received a scholarship to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. She managed to make it by surviving on a student stipend, while working part time jobs. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance as compared to the performance of the other students. Then she began to consider different options. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. However she left prior to the group's appearance on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist in The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her first solo album Diva, which was released in 1992. It received lots of praise both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite blues and soul from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. First album of hers, Now I Letting You Go... It is the soundtrack to her exhibit of work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish political activist and singer. Following a modest recognition as part of the band called The Tourists in the late 1970s she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to gain international recognition as the pop duo Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva featured a number of hit tracks, such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was that was released in 1995 features songs that are re-imagined from her most popular songs including No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale).
