Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. The budget of her was augmented with a student stipend and part-time work. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other paths she could take. Lennox was initially musician with the group Dragons Playground. But she quit before her band was asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. She was the main voice in The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to record her solo debut album Diva. The album came out in 1992. It received lots of praise from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favorite blues, jazz, and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. This E.P. Her first album"Now I'm Letting You Go... It is the soundtrack to her exhibit of artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a performer. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They would go on, through the 1980s to be the cult duo Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox began her solo career, releasing their debut record Diva that produced a number of hit songs, such as Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa is a studio album features covers of songs such as No More I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums as well as her compilation album contain a variety of tracks.
