Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. Lennox made it through on the stipend of a student as well as working part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox wasn't happy with the quality of her skills compared to others at Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She quit the band shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. Between 1977 and 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop group. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on Diva in 1992. It was her first solo album. This album became a huge hit, both in terms of sales and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera came out by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is comprised of four songs improvised. The E.P. Her first solo album along with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of songs like Why, and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. The album features covers of such songs as The No MoreI I Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums and the compilation album have a lot of hits.
