Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She was able to survive on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. Lennox made the decision to alter her career path when she was dissatisfied with her lack of skill in comparison with others Royal Academy students. Lennox started out as a flute-player with the group Dragons Playground. The group broke up shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's talent program New Faces. From 1977 until 1980, she was the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop band. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began working for her debut album as a solo artist Diva that was released in the year 1992. It received lots of praise from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in November 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's favorite blues, jazz and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to an art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you Go... Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a singer. Following a modest recognition as part of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 1980s.
