Mrs. Rivas, a licensed and bilingual clinical social worker who has worked in the non-profit sector for more than 13 years. She has worked with many different people, such as LGBTQ+, those dealing with substance abuse issues, survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. In 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. She is currently offering the telehealth services for Behavioral Health. Dr. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team which focuses on postpartum and pregnant women, specializes in trauma-informed care and offers an EMDR treatment for adults. She provides individual and group therapy, as well as a medication assisted treatment program. Special care referrals are also available. Amanda works as a Best Friends Animal Society volunteer aiding in finding permanent homes for animals that are homeless. Amanda is a firm believer in the Best Friends slogan Save Them all and is committed to helping to make Los Angeles a city with zero killing.
